She was called to Bar in 1995, did her pupillage in chancery and tax chambers, gained her masters in law at University College London and became a Chartered Tax Advisor with the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) in 2001. She has also been admitted as a Solicitor.
During her career as a lawyer she worked in several major City law firms where she specialised in corporate tax and related areas.
Eile also provides pro bono advice through Tax Help for Older People (TOP) and sits on the Property Tax Sub-Committee of CIOT. In addition she is a member of CIOTs Low Income Tax Reform Group.
